About Magnum Boat Lifts

Boat Lifts Unlimited has been manufacturing Magnum Boat Lifts since 1994. From the beginning, the focus has been consistent: build reliable equipment that performs in real marine conditions and support the customers who rely on it.

A boat lift is a functional piece of equipment. It protects a vessel, simplifies waterfront access, and reduces long-term maintenance. That practical understanding continues to guide how Magnum lifts are designed and built.

A Customer-Focused Approach

Customer service has always been central to our operation. Boat lifts are long-term installations, and owners depend on them daily during the boating season. We take that responsibility seriously.

Our design philosophy emphasizes:

  • Access to your vessel

  • Straightforward operation

  • Structural integrity

  • Long service life

The goal is not to overcomplicate the product, but to build lifts that work consistently and perform reliably for decades after installation.

Manufactured in Maryland

Magnum Boat Lifts are manufactured by Boat Lifts Unlimited Inc. just outside of Annapolis.

Maintaining in-house manufacturing allows for direct oversight of quality, materials, and fabrication standards. Every lift is built with attention to durability and serviceability, particularly for the demands of Mid-Atlantic marine environments

Product Line & Design Background

The S, HD, and CBX models represent the core of the Magnum product line. These lifts are made with galvanized steel to achieve the low-profile design that prioritizes access to your vessel and long-term reliability.

The foundation of these designs trace back to Hi-n-Dry Boat Lifts, which began manufacturing low-profile lifts in 1981. Boat Lifts Unlimited acquired Hi-n-Dry in 2006 and continues to manufacture select Hi-n-Dry models for certain markets.

The engineering principles behind Magnum lifts were developed through direct industry experience spanning multiple decades. That continuity of knowledge remains part of how we approach product development today.

From Local Manufacturer to National Distribution

Magnum lifts were originally supplied to local waterfront communities. Over time, consistent performance and word-of-mouth demand led to expansion through our dealer network that now supports customers across the country.

The product has grown geographically, but our manufacturing standards and service expectations have remained consistent.

Long-Term Reliability

Marine environments are demanding. Salt exposure, tidal fluctuation, and continuous loading require equipment that is structurally sound and mechanically straightforward.

Understanding these principles is what influences what materials, finishes, and mechanical systems are selected for durability and ease of service. Our objective is simple: build lifts that hold up over time and can be maintained without unnecessary complexity.

For more than 30 years, that approach has defined Magnum Boat Lifts.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
